The Gun-Launched Loitering Munition (GLM) is a hybrid naval-artillery and unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) system designed to provide forward assault teams with rapid, over-the-horizon reconnaissance and precision tactical strike capabilities. Fired from a standard naval deck gun, the system utilizes an ultra-rugged press-held ballistic shell to bridge long distances at supersonic speeds before transitioning into a two-wing loitering drone controlled by troops on the ground. The project is currently in the concept and architectural design phase.
