- When modifying the PCB Stator Layout:
- Ensure adherence to the distributed power node architecture and 10-pin local controller interface.
- Document the implementation in the
ems-project-log.md.
- Validate EMI shielding (GND plane integrity) between sensing and power phases.
- When designing kinetic or structural components:
- Calculate dynamic stresses at 600m/s (Mach 1.7) operating velocity.
- Cross-reference with the 270 kg [595 lbs] mass and 20.6 MN hoop tension constraints.
- Document balancing requirements in
rotor-assembly-balancing-guide.md.
- NEVER compromise the vacuum chamber's structural integrity, which must withstand 14.7 psi external pressure (23 tons on the lid).
- NEVER propose flammable cooling solutions; only use non-flammable phase-change cooling (e.g., 3M Novec 7100).
- NEVER alter the fundamental hexagonal stator geometry or the wire-tensioned suspension architecture without explicit approval.
